The GWFW Fundraising Gala 2026
This event is to share and fund the mission of God's Word for Warriors, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans and their families by offering faith-based support for the spiritual and moral injuries they sustained during deployment.
What you need to know
Our venue will be the George Shinn Center on the Lipscomb University campus: 3906 Belmont Blvd, Nashville, TN 37215.
Casual business attire is welcome. We will begin the evening with a reception with beverages and hors d'oeuvres at 5:30 pm, followed by a sit-down dinner.
During the meal, we will hear from the GWFW team, some who have been impacted by GWFW, and a few other welcome guests.
Who will be there
Along with the GWFW team, the GWFW board of directors, those impacted by GWFW, long-term supporters, and those seeking to learn more about our mission, we will welcome Brian Bates, a Nashville-based comedian and co-host with Nate Bargatze on their podcast, the Nateland Podcast, and other well-known comedians on the Public Figures Podcast. Brian will be our MC and entertainment for the evening.
Brian Bates tours the country performing at comedy clubs, theaters, corporate events, and churches. You may have seen his Dry Bar Comedy specials or heard him as a guest on The Grand Ole Opry. He can also be heard regularly on LaughUSA on SiriusXM radio.

GWFW is funded entirely by donors who value the mission and seek to support veterans and their families. Donations help us provide resources such as courses, facilitated groups, podcasts, the video library, discounted or free counseling, and more.
Whether you can join us at the gala or are unable to attend, we offer different giving tiers. Each is greatly appreciated and welcome.

Listed as a Distinguished Donor in a future 2026 newsletter, and the desired number of guests to be seated at the event. Register for you and your guests here.
Table Host: $1000 for 10 seats
Hosts may welcome up to 10 guests of their choice to join them on the night of the event. Each guest will need to register separately here.
Event Guests: Any amount welcome
All guests of our event are welcome and encouraged to consider donating to this ministry by giving any amount. Every dollar helps the mission.
